(Yes, you can build a studio, if your house is set up that way.) You may sell it and use the profit to buy a new house.

When every room is full and you have fully furnished the house with at least one bathroom, a kitchen, a dining room, a living room, and a bedroom space.

Harder mode - You must be in the house for 2 days of dumpster diving, before you are able to buy a toilet, but if you find one, you may install it immediately. I feel like that is an easier mode, because you don’t need to gather other items to create the furniture. You may make furniture and other items using the eco pack items and sell them to buy furniture, of course.Įasier mode - You may keep items found in the dumpster to take to the next house, if you would like. The only things you may bring to a new house are the fabricator, candlemaker, etc… Your sim must try to create as much of each house’s furniture as possible. You may gather wax, because it is an eco pack item. Or other old homeless challenge standbys. Your sim may only use items from the eco pack to make money, so no gathering, collecting, painting, Then start dumpster diving for everything you can find. Once you purchase your first house, you move your sim in and give them 0 simoleons using the money cheat.

The basic idea is, you are dumpster diving and making everything you can to maximize your profits on each house flip. Maybe you could make a grand meal, then throw it out before eating it? This might be a little confusing, however, because you will be collecting items in the challenge. You can do this with the money cheat, or you can buy items with a similar price, and keep them in your inventory.

Then, in game mode, you have to pay the cost of the item, plus $50 to fix it or haul it away.

Hard mode - use the debug cheat or just buy a bunch of stuff to place on your lot. You must start with an empty house, every time, unless you have saved furniture (found or created) in your inventory (see below). You can build more rooms, buy a pool, or give it another level, but you may not buy furnishings. If you have over 1000 simoleons left after buying a house shell, you MUST build on to that house. If you have less than 1000 simoleons on future houses, you can keep that for gameplay (but may not buy furniture). What you purchase unfurnished is what you get and you have 0 simoleons to begin the challenge. (Really, you can do this in any town, as long as you start with a really cheap house and aim for the most expensive house.) You may not keep any money or improve the shell of the first house at all before gameplay begins. Yikes.Ĭhoose the cheapest house in Evergreen Harbor, unfurnished. Super hard mode trait idea - Squeamish, Foodie, and Lazy. Your character can have any traits you want, but if you want more of a challenge, you can give your characters random traits. You may marry and have a family through the course of the game, but you may not start with a second character unless it’s a toddler to make the challenge harder. The sim can be any age you want, but you have a lot of work to do before you are done, so young adult or teen might be best. You can watch the fun and laugh at my foibles all at the same time on my YouTube channel. Disclaimer - Since this pack is brand new, I am playing and beta testing the House Flipper Challenge all at once.
